The path is still difficult to walk, some places are even more exposed than in the year before. The book has a few leaves again. The bridge is rotten.

This round tour was very demanding and interesting 😯🤩 We walked sections of the Moselsteig Trail, the box tree path and local themed trails that were well described and described 👌👌
Sometimes the paths were a little more difficult to walk due to smaller earthen slopes, which only made it even more interesting 🤭😉 and since it was partly a …

A beautiful hike with a destination that is always worthwhile. Eltz Castle 🏰. Here we made a longer photo stop with a picnic 🥔🌮. We forgot the time and we had to cover the last 3 kilometers with many meters of altitude over stairs, narrow paths and scree in the dark. That wasn't funny 😩

So, the last day of our Moselle hike. Today we explored the beautiful boxwood path. And it was a really nice and strenuous tour for us Berliners, as it always went up and down.
Great views of the Moselle, the vineyards and finally the castle.
We were all satisfied and were able to take away a lot of impressions.

Very varied and interesting route.
Sure-footedness is absolutely necessary, as is a useful basic level of fitness.
You shouldn't be too afraid, especially the boxwood path is partly less than 30 cm wide, over slate scree, directly on the slope.

Tired deserves the name, almost everything has been given up now.

Nonetheless it is a wonderful and diverse hike with majestic views of the Mosel and the castle, cherry trees and other fruit trees, …
I visited Burg Eltz in September. The battery ran out after three photo shots.

I had to drive/walk/climb there one more time.
