Beautiful tour on well-developed cycle paths (mostly asphalted and away from car traffic) in the lowlands of Ilmenau, Elbe, Neetze and various ditches and canals in between. It goes along meadows and fields and pretty houses and farms with flower-decorated cottage gardens - a real splendor!

The tour begins at the Stover Strand campsite.

Here, turn left onto the Elbe Cycle Path down towards Laßrönne, then follow the Hamburg-Schnackenburg Cycle Path, which leads through Tönnhausen, Mover, Fahrenholz, and Oldershausen.

From there, the route continues via Horburg and Bütlingen to Tespe on the dike.

This is where the Hohes Elbufer or Elbe Cycle Path joins.
