Eisenhammer Hammer Mill

The iron hammer, built in 1770 below the Aumatalsperre, is the oldest hammer mill in East Thuringia and was in operation until 1921.
It was built by Georg Friedrich Schubert. Two giant hammers and a misshapen bellows were set in motion by water power.
