Whenever I drive home on the A4, I see these great castle ruins - the Drei Gleichen (Burg Gleichen, Mühlburg and Veste Wachsenburg). Today I interrupted the drive and visited the 3 castles with a hike. Great scenery, especially the badlands gave me absolutely mesmerized!
