Just along the bike trail this South Bay Marina Biology Study Area provides access and information about the marsh and wetland biology, birdlife information panels, benches, and trails out into the wetland.

The view from this section of the bikeway is stunning. The vibrant green and blue colors of the water and skyline are breathtaking and worthy of a stop to take some incredible photos.

Crown Cove Aquatic Center — Silver Strand State Beach

Highlight • Beach

This is a great place to learn about water safety and operating small watercraft. The bike path goes right past the center, but the path is elevated and fenced off. The easiest way to get to the aquatic center is via the pedestrian tunnel on the other side of the highway. There are tables outside that make for a nice picnic spot.

Silver Strand State Beach

Silver Strand State Beach has various beaches, campgrounds, and a load of day-use areas. It's just off the side of the Bayside Bikeway and is a super popular spot for tourists and locals, alike. There are a few different signs noting when to turn to get to the beach if you decide to jog down to the actual waters.

Pier at the bay side of the Silver Strand Peninsula south or Coronado, built specifically for nature viewing. The beach is fenced off to protect the bird life.
