One of my favourite sections of the Cumbria Coastal Way, it's so quiet and beautiful around here with expansive views across the sands.

Arnside Point

Highlight • Natural

One of the Cumbrian coast's few rocky shores, Arnside Point watches out over the Kent Estuary and Grange-over-Sands. In the warmer months, it is a good place to spot lizards …

The Kent estuary opens up into Morecambe Bay and the last part of the river runs through sand banks that are often covered in wading birds.

Me and my Daughter found this spot along our tour and what a spot to find. It’s a peaceful, white pebbled beach with great views. A great spot to stop and take in this beautiful spot.

Beautiful pebble beach was lovely to sit and soak up the autumn sun. Good views over Morecombe Bay. Stay clear of the sand.

March 20, 2022,Arnside to Silverdale then up to Arnside Knott
I had planned on following someone's route off here but due to the tides it was safer to do it in reverse and my app stopped itself when we stopped for lunch so it cut our route short . Did get a bit lost but that was due to us asking someone the way rather than going with our instinct!
