We started our fourth and final stage in Limburg. We passed Bad Ems and continued to the Lahn estuary in Lahnstein.
The Lahn Cycle Path is a highly recommended route.

Today's bike tour took us through the Lahn valley in late summer weather.

We took the train from Niederlahnstein to Limburg.

Limburg's old town is always worth a trip. We went from the train station past pretty half-timbered houses to the Lahn cycle path and downstream on this. Shortly after leaving the city, it's worth looking back: Limburg Cathedral sits …

Day 4 on the Lahn Cycle Path. From Limburg to Lahnstein.

Today there was pure sunshine again and over 30 degrees, just hot.

Start in Limburg at the Priest guest house, very nice bed & bike accommodation. In the morning a very rich breakfast, packing a packed lunch at the breakfast table is expressly desired. But I ate the "packed …

The premium stretch is from Diez to Obernhof. Families with school-age children can manage it without a battery. Very varied. You can ride as far as you like and then get on the train for the return journey.
The Diez train station has no elevator. Here you have to carry …

Unfortunately, I had to rely on other people's photos. I accidentally deleted my camera pictures in Lahnstein 😪😪. About the tour: incredibly beautiful, with complete silence at times. Only the birds 🐦 were chirping at the top of their lungs. Fantastic scenery. A full five out of five bikes.

Planned for a long time and finally put into action, we took the train from Frankfurt main station to Limburg at 8:29, which we reached shortly before 10. The short stretch from the train station to the Lahn is quickly covered and then you continue along the well-developed path along the Lahn. The morning is still a bit fresh and …
