St. Laurentius Church + War Memorial – Bobenheim 🚴♂️
Highlight • Religious Site
It is structured by red and yellow sandstones and pilaster strips and has a retracted, semicircular choir and a three-storey facade tower in front, which is covered with a pointed helmet. The interior of the church can be reached through several iron-studded wooden doors that have been preserved in the original.
Above these there are reliefs in the arched fields, showing on the one hand Christ as a sheep bearer and on the other hand St. Peter. The hall is covered by a flat ceiling decorated with ornaments and the zodiac. The furnishings include a large, wooden crucifix, a wooden relief of the crucifixion, a wooden statue of Saint Mauritius from 1750 and a smaller winged altar, which was built in 1585 by Archbishop Johann VI of Trier. von Schönenburg had been donated for the collegiate church in Dietkirchen. 🚴♂️

War memorial
In the former church yard there is a war memorial, which is supposed to commemorate the fallen of the First World War.
