Today, the weather was good for hiking and we went to the Westerwald.
From Marienstatt Monastery, the route took us through a variety of forests, meadows, the lovely Hachenburg with its beautiful half-timbered houses and along the Great Nister.
At the end of our hike, we looked at the Marienstatt Monastery complex. There is a lot to discover here...
