Trail Along the Kleine Kinzig

Highlight • Trail

From the hiking car park to the pump house, the path goes along the little Kinzig.

There is always direct access to the river under shady trees and small waterfalls

Many small waterfalls and waterfall steps along the way, not only in the Kinzig, but also in the streams that flow into the Kinzig

Pure nature 🥰
Circling the "Kleine Kinzig" dam
Many information boards along the trail provide information about water.
A beautiful view from the dam over the dam 🙂
Very nice path along the lake.
A bench here and there for a short break, but no tables...
We highly recommend this trail 👌🏽🥾 and look forward to your feedback 🙌🏽

Recommended tour to and around the reservoir.
The way back from the reservoir to the parking lot is a bit monotonous, as you walk on the driveway and there is a forest on the left / right.

Today turned a lap around the reservoir "Kleine Kinzig"; WITH snow (up to 15 cm of the latest powder snow🥰)
The start and finish was the Kleine Kinzig hiking car park. From here it’s a long way uphill. After that, it goes very simply all the way to the end.
The most impressive thing for me was today;
If you …

The path along the small Kinzig from the hiking car park at the "Oberen Dörfle" from Reinerzau to the dam wall is very tranquil. In the first third, the smaller side arm of the reservoir, which is fed by the Hüttenbächle, the path is almost entirely in the forest with a rare view of the water. This is much more …

Hello friends of well-maintained hiking,

apparently there are problems with Komoot, I can't edit the tour on the computer, hence few captions and not much text!
Maybe it will get better again!

Tour is easy to master, views of the lake mostly only through trees except from the dam

To and around the "Kleine Kinzig" reservoir from Schenkenzell-Reinerzau.
In good weather, anyone can do it😀, we braved the rain and were rewarded with sunshine at the end🥰

The path up to the reservoir runs along the small Kinzig 😍😍😍
and runs predominantly through the 🌲 🌲 🌲 between the trees 🌲🌲 the water shimmers through
Unfortunately, the path is predominantly gravel but still beautiful 😍😍😍

Highly recommended for nature lovers, refreshing in summer because you mostly walk in the shade and the path through the forest cools you down, but almost always with a view of the lake. Greetings from Manfred and Waltraud
