Today I'm switching things up: hiking in Daisetsuzan National Park. The Kurodake cable car (from Suonkyo Onsen) takes you to a good altitude, which you can further shorten by taking the chairlift. They had me panicking about the return times, so I took both: the cable car and the chairlift, to have more time!
