I've wanted to walk up the Duke of Sutherland monument for ages, I've kept seeing it from the A34. I got up there but didn't realise the PF from the monument, continuing through King's Wood is completely closed from 31st Aug - 31st May for conservation grazing. I had to retrace my steps part way to reach the main track …
