Whether the stairs are now Celtic and c. 3,500 years old or Roman and "only" 1,600 years old is actually quite a schnurzpipe. It is definitely impressive.

A real dream path. We saved the highlight of our hiking weekend for the last day. Halfway fit again, we could really enjoy the hike. Summery flower meadows, great narrow paths, history and stories, birdsong. We haven't hiked with so much variety in a long time. A top recommendation

A great, challenging trail for dry weather.
Good parking, excellent signage, and well-maintained paths.
Varied sections and fantastic views.
The hiking trail is rightfully dubbed a "dream trail."
Highly recommended.

A very beautiful loop. I don't know why the tour was rated "difficult." Yes, there are a few sections where you need to be sure-footed and climb over a few rocks. Nevertheless, this very beautiful loop is doable with a good level of fitness and is rated "moderately difficult." On wet ground, the rocks/slate you occasionally climb over can be …

The tour starts in Trimbs, where there is a designated hiking parking lot right at the start of the dream trail …

After being so enthusiastic about the "Nette Slate Path" dream trail on May 1st, we're here today with a dear friend.
The trail is another adventure. We're amazed at the surprises nature has in store for us. The broom and rapeseed are almost finished... but it's not a big deal... instead, we can spot poppies, cornflowers, and chamomile along the …

Only a few kilometers apart and yet so different in landscape.
Where yesterday the typical lava rock such as tuff and pumice predominated, today it was slate rock.
At the beginning and end of the tour, we walked along narrow paths past rugged slate rocks and old mining pits, in between the idyllic river landscape of the Nette at whose …
