Main Cycle Path Near Klingenberg

Highlight • Cycleway

The Main cycle path between Klingenberg and Miltenberg is very nice to ride. There are no inclines and the path is well developed. Benches along the route invite you to linger.

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

If you are already on the Main Cycle Path at the north-western tip of Bavaria, then you should definitely stop by here in the idyllic old town of "Aschebersch"! My stop-off tip: Schlappeseppel traditional brewery restaurant. 🍻

(tar tour Kultour) to the beautiful Pompejanum Aschaffenburg, back on the other side of the Main (Niedernberg, Gelateria da Olly OBB, Gasthof zur Schönen Aussicht Kleinheubach); Round from Bürgstadt/Miltenberg

This circular tour leads down the Main on beautiful cycle paths over the Martinsbrücke to Großheubach and from there always along the Main on cycle paths to Aschaffenburg. The asphalt portion …

Day 7, second part, kilometers 401 to 444. After we have reached Miltenberg, we aim for Aschaffenburg as our overnight destination. The room "Grace" (named after Grace Kelly) in the convent has a bathtub. Just the right thing after 76 daily kilometers.
Later something to eat and a few beers in the Schlappeseppel brewery inn. 👍

Today we covered fewer kilometers, but there was a lot of rain. It wasn't a problem, though, because we were able to test our rain gear again. Everything was waterproof after two hours of continuous rain. The route was beautiful again, but it was too wet for us to stop, so we just kept going.

Started with a bath in the Main (Nikki and I) 🤗
Coincidentally discovered a beautiful gorge on the route, a beautiful section of the route

I immediately felt very comfortable in Aschaffenburg. A beautiful city in the right size for me with lots of small shops, cafes and restaurants and a lively atmosphere.

Showing Translation

Today only the short final stage before going home with the 🚂 in Aschaffenburg. The trip on the Main and MDK was very nice ☀️🍻🍷

Showing Translation

Despite the bad forecast, we got to Aschaffenburg quite dry. It was only a short tour.
