Very nice tour of the - unfortunately already dried up at this time of year - Ibie over the mountain directly to the Pont d'Arc. At the top a really great view of the entire circular mountain and in the middle the landmark of the Ardeche.

Modified Tour 23 from the book "France's Wild South, Ardèche" by Uli Frings. Lonely hike to a very touristy place. Stop at the Auberge du Pont d'Arc. Very tasty (and cheap) lunch menus (Monday to Friday).

It's not possible to do without hiking, so I set off early from the holiday home and over the hill to the Pont d'Arc. After a swim, the return trip along the road, including the tunnel, reminded me a lot of the Amalfi Coast. Temperatures were 35°C. I was completely exhausted.
