Old Rümmele Footbridge

Karl Rümmele was a railway construction engineer at the Baden State Railways. It was he who set the idea for a continuous walk through the Wutachschlucht with webs rolling. A special feature was the construction of the bridges as suspension bridges. They were anchored one-sidedly in the rock while resting on the other side on a stone pillar.
