With 1876 meters the second highest peak on the degree of the northern Rauhhornzuges.
The view of the surrounding mountain landscape is huge. The path to the Iseler summit requires not only certain surefootedness.

From the smugglers' path you have a stunning view over the Tannheimer Valley and the surrounding mountains. But be careful and watch your path, because it is narrow and challenging.

Very beautiful panorama and a great photo hotspot. The lake can be used for swimming, very refreshing, especially in summer, but also quite cold... The food is good, price/performance OK.

May 11, 2024,Iseler-Gipfel - Gratweg loop from Oberjoch
11 May 2024, there is still a lot of snow on the mountain, but with experience this balancing act is possible.🏔️

Interesting climb over two peaks with tons of views - mostly on both sides. The path is very well secured, but you should at least have a head for heights, especially on the first part of the ridge to Kühgundkopf. 🏔️🥾☀️

I started the actual loop at the Wiedhagbahn mountain station. I used the lift to and from Oberjoch. I walked the loop around to the left. This meant I had the most difficult and dangerous section up to the Wannenjoch at the beginning and the summit of the Iseler at the end of the ridge path.

Short but sweet. Via the Schmugglersteig and Gradweg to the Iseler. Alpine experience is required. The Gradweg is peppered with alpine challenges. Footholds and wire rope safety devices are provided. Our furry friend made it through easily with a little help. Fantastic views.

Today we were on the Iseler in the best weather and did the complete tightrope walk over Wannenjoch and Kühgundkopf and Kühgundspitze. Shortly before the last descent we stopped at the Wiedhagalpe.
The tour is beautiful with an incredible number of views. However, you should be free from giddiness.😁

June 13, 2025,Iseler - Kühgundkopf
Beautiful hike with great views of the Tannheimer and Hintersteiner valleys (partially secured with ropes from the Kühgundspitze T3)

Showing Translation

We started at the (hopefully) free parking lot at the Iselerbahn valley station in pleasant temperatures between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius.

From there, we first reached the Iseler summit cross (1876 m) and then continued along the ridge path to the Kühgrundspitz summit cross (1855 m).
We descended along the ridge path (SAC hiking scale: T3). After a short …

I started today at the free parking lot in Oberjoch. Climb to the Iseler on the normal route, continue over the Kühgunrücken to the Kühgundkopf. From up there you can see far back into the Tannheim Valley and the Tannheim Mountains. And then today I was rewarded for getting up early with a particularly bright sunrise 🥰
