Orbaizeta Royal Arms Factory

Highlight • Historical Site

It is considered one of the best exponents of 18th century industrial architecture. It was founded in 1784 by a Royal Order of Carlos III. After producing ammunition for years, and at some stage even cannons, it began in the mid-19th century to produce quality iron, which was later transformed in the Trubia and Oviedo factories in Asturias.
