The oldest historic building in the Swarzędz commune. It is located on the trail of wooden churches around the Zielonka Forest. It is one of the oldest wooden churches in Greater Poland. Valuable equipment from the 17th century has been preserved. In the main altar from that time there is a painting of the Mother of God with the Child called Wierzenicka, founded by the wheelwright Bartłomiej of Kleck from 1636. Particularly noteworthy is the neoclassical tomb monument of the famous philosopher August Cieszkowski, made in the late 19th century according to the design of Teofil Lenartowicz and Antoni Madeyski. This monument, which is a replica of the tombstone of A. Cieszkowski's mother, located in the Church of Santa Croce in Florence, is considered to be the most outstanding work of romantic tombstone sculpture in Poland.
