When he reached retirement age, Borsetti remained in the place, where he had now become a well-known and respected character, both by fishermen and by the inhabitants of the area.
In 1917, therefore, the municipal administration of Ravenna decided to entitle the group of houses that was forming around his workplace with the name of Casal Borsetti.
