Actually, we only wanted to visit the karst spring today. Ortalsborn, a karst spring near Spielberg (Querfurt city) in the NSG Schmoner Busch, Spielbergerhöhe and Elstal with constant water temperature.

But then the hilly landscape attracted us to a circular hike, which a friendly gentleman from the village recommended to us. The hills are similar to those at the castle …
