Krumme Lake is a beautiful destination at any time of the year. The river meanders leisurely through the Grünauer Forest - I also take it slowly. At the Schmöckwitz forestry district I cross the Adlergestell (Berlin's longest street) to get to the Karnickelberge. It is a dune-like elevation in the middle of a forest.
