The ancient Church of Sant'Eusebio and Tre Re Magi was built before the thirteenth century on a cemetery. The current building, which dates from St Charles' time, is located on the outskirts of the city of Agra, on the hill bordering the Agra Basin to the south.

Major restoration works were carried out in the years 1970-1982: enlargement of the tunnel, which was transformed into a staircase through which the cloistered sisters reach the church from the convent of San Giuseppe; restoration of the ciborium in precious marble; new presbytery and table; Construction of the convent of the Romani nuns of Sant'Ambrogio, inaugurated in 1974.
The church, already attested at the beginning of the thirteenth century under the title of Sant'Eusebio and Three Kings, was not born as a sanctuary but served as a parish church. In 1933, with the construction of the new parish church (also dedicated to St. Eusebius), the liturgical building was abandoned; In 1977, after a major restoration, it was reopened for worship and became a sanctuary dedicated to Mary, Mother of the Church, and to Saint Joseph.
