I didn't know the Spiazzi di Gromo and it was a wonderful surprise. It is worth going up to the refuge on foot since the climb, although intense, is short, about 3km. On a sunny day, the Pratoni repay the modest effort of the climb. The refuge is spacious, the bathrooms are spotless and the staff are very friendly.
