It crosses the Tarn 3.5 kilometers before its confluence with the Garonne, at the exit of Moissac on the departmental road D 813, the old national road 113, in the direction of Castelsarrasin.

Located in the town of Moissac, in Tarn-et-Garonne, the Cacor canal bridge notably allows navigation over the Tarn. 356 meters long and 8.35 meters wide, it was built in the second half of the 19th century and has been listed as a Historic Monument.

Entirely made of Toulouse bricks and Quercy stone, the Cacor canal bridge is located about twenty minutes from the city center, and is still today one of the largest in France.
