Château de Fallavier

This strategic location was exploited during the war between the Savoy and the Dauphiné (1250-1355). A document dated from 1280 indicates the construction work to extend and fortify the castle.
The castle forms a real fortress consisting of two walls and a mighty keep. While more emphasis was placed on the defensive aspect, convenience was not left aside. There are a total of 3 rooms, a kitchen, a fountain, a large hall and a chapel.
