Ilam Village and Monument

Highlight • Bridge

Ilam is a beautiful little village. No shops to speak of except for an ice-cream van in the weekends when the sun is out. Most routes out involve a reasonable climb, but worth a visit. Over the bridge from the monument and a short steep climb gives some good photo ops over the valley.

Fairly long climb out of Ilam with lovely views over the Manifold valley once you get up to the top!
