There are days when things don't go so well. Today, for example, I did the planned 20km, which ended up being just under 11km.

The forest area near Rheinbach is wonderful for hiking; many paths/trails have interesting names.

The Tomburg castle ruins offer breathtaking views of the Siebengebirge range all the way to Euskirchen and Sophienhöhe near Jülich.
