If you carry on a short distance beyond Newearth Road, you can turn right onto the Ellenbrook Loopline that runs parallel with Newearth Road and joins up with the Walkden Loopline near point 8 (behind Worsley Leisure Centre). This provides more traffic free route, more interesting cycling and gives you a look at the guided busway.
