Hard to get lost on this pretty circuit. Well signposted and following the cascading Afon Clywedog in its steepsided gorge through the woodland. Well made paths with nothing more challenging than a few tree roots to climb over. We walked from the Torrent Walk Campsite and up the western bank and down the opposite side.

A very beautiful short hike. The many moss-covered stones and trees create a truly mystical atmosphere. We abandoned our attempt to reach the Torrent Walk from Dolgellau on foot: it would have required walking along two busy roads without a footpath or even a hint of a shoulder.
