There is a bike maintenance stand outside 'The Pier' on the beach front side of the road which can be handy. Pump, tools etc, all you need to running repairs. Plenty places for coffee on the beach front too.

Highlight • Rest Area

This part of the beach seemed more shaded from the wind in the bay and people were swimming as there were less waves. There are lots of cool street vendors and truck along this section and some cafes and restaurants nearby too. There’s also free parking along the beach front and some public toilets.

Footdee (Fittie) Fishing Village

Highlight • Historical Site

The old fishing village of Foot Dee (know locally as Fittie) is a lovely picturesque area. With it's old squares in the middle of the little fishing houses, there are well decorated sheds, and each one is unique as the next. The area is pedestrianised, and easily accessed at the end of the beach. There is also a small playpark at the sea side of it.
