Holyrood is a district of the Scottish capital Edinburgh. It connects directly to the city center at the end of the Royal Mile in the east.

Within the Old Town, starting from Edinburgh Castle, we explored the shops up to the Royal Palace (one of the residences of the English royals), along the Royal Mile.
