Gnarly

Highlight • MTB Park

Very difficult bit of bridleway. Very wet after rain. Mountain bike (ideally full suspension) required.

Hambleton Lane Singletrack

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

This section of braided singletrack is a highlight of the area. It's fun ridden in either direction, but most people prefer to ride it west to east - not least because it's gently descending. It's one to be wary of though - although there's not much highly technical riding at low speeds, the trail encourages higher velocities, and can then lead you down dead ends or gullies with 'entertaining' rock features when taken at speed.

Very nice and easy walk with great views of the reservoir.

Lovely spot for a break with a welcoming and well priced visitor centre for teas, coffees & flapjack.

Cobbled Climb to the Old House

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

This is a longish climb, but it's not terribly steep - the cobbles do serve to keep things interesting, though. Happily, after a few minutes climbing it's possible to see the house (formerly a pub) at the very top of the climb - but it does seem to take forever to get there!
