This beach isn't one of the official beaches of Lake Philippe, but its location at the southern end makes it a prime viewpoint. The water stretches its entire length, framed by a lush forest that adds depth. The resulting perspective is breathtaking.

"Bienvenue cyclistes" is a Quebec initiative where campgrounds reserve some camping spots for visitors travelling exclusively by bike. Those site cannot be reserved in advance and are always available (in theory, they might get crowded if you have to share with a bigger group, but in practice that hasn't happened to me yet).
At this location, there's picnic table, a fire pit and a screened-in wooden shelter (pictured) large enough for perhaps two to four people to sleep in. Outhouse and drinking ware are a few meters away and shower, water toilet, and laundry are in the main Lac Phillipe campgrounds a very short bike ride away.

This section of trail 50 runs alongside Lake Philippe on a wide gravel path. The vegetation thins out in places, offering opportunities to admire the beautiful expanse of water.
