Since my dear wife doesn't like cycling, I always go on beautiful parts of my tours as hikes with her. Even though the weather wasn't as nice today as yesterday, it was still a nice hike along alternative paths that aren't particularly suitable for cycling

A consistently beautiful winter hike around Barmsee and Geroldsee (Wagenbrüchsee). Lovely views of the Schöttelkar and Soiernspitze peaks, the Karwendel foothills, and of course the Wetterstein range with the Alpspitze, Waxenstein, and Zugspitze. The hike concludes with a pass over the Grubsee lake. Although the lakes and rivers were still frozen solid, the paths were easily passable.
