Mühldorfer Hart Forest Camp Memorial

Highlight • Historical Site

A memorial site built in the spring of 2018 for the former forest camp 'Mühldorfer Hart'. By the summer of 1944, 8300 Jewish prisoners and 1700 prisoners of war and forced laborers were to build a factory for jet aircraft of the type Me 262. In the forest floor anchored bridges made of concrete slabs open up the individual components of the camp. A "lock" of two large concrete parts marks the relics such as former pits for warehouses or the roll call square and on illustrations and text panels one receives information about the adverse living conditions of the forced laborers.
