The path leads above the dam and largely through mixed forests (oak, spruce, linden) and you always have beautiful views of the dam. 🌲🌳

Unfortunately we had to shorten the tour and eventually abandon it because our dog had injured his paw. 🐾

The Ringelsteinweg is my second tour in the Bergisches Land today. It runs steadily uphill and downhill and mostly along the Wahnbachtalsperre. Due to the wide forest roads, the path is very frequented by cyclists. In particular because of the beautiful views over the dam, I can recommend the path, despite the gravel paths.
