The start was at the free parking lot "Nordufer".

The path is completely paved and flat.
Sufficient benches are available for breaks.

The winter half-year is probably the best time to circle the lake.
In the season there are many people looking for relaxation, as well as cyclists who are on a section of the Werratal cycle path.
