Dreamy views Day 1. Start at the (free) car park at the valley station of the Hochplatten cable car in Marquartstein OT. Niederfels. The ascent to our destination, the Piesenhausener Hochalm, took place over good and continuously steep forest paths (S0, sometimes over 20% gradient) first to the mountain station / Staffn Alm, then further up.
