The Favorite Park is part of the Favorite hunting lodge and palace, which used to be used exclusively for lavish celebrations. Today, the natural forest is a wonderful recreational area. Especially on hot days, the fantastic giant trees offer enough shade for longer walks. Mouflon and fallow deer are very trusting and can be admired from close range. The stroller can pass without any problems. A shady avenue leads through the park, which you must stay on (the meadows are reserved for the animals). You can follow this further along the Planetenweg (planet path) to the Monrepos lake palace. Simply enjoy this nature experience in Favorite Park.

The Planet Trail promises a truly astronomical stroll: Approximately 7 km long, it begins at the sun's location north of Favorite Park on Seeschlossallee, not far from the Favorite Park S-Bahn station. The trail continues north past Monrepos Palace to Wilhelmshof, through Brandholz to the southern edge of the Bietigheim Forest. From this location, the S-Bahn station in Bietigheim-Bissingen is about 2 km away. At the start and end of the trail, as well as at the roundabout in front of Monrepos Palace, there are additional general information panels about the Planet Trail itself and its route.
