Siegfried Appotin Memorial

Highlight • Historical Site

This is the former lane for the East German border troops just beyond the border fence.

Here, in 1950, a fleeing border guard shot and killed his comrade (see picture with the memorial stone).

Moor Lake at Palinger Heath and the Teschow Peninsula

Highlight • Lake

This moor lake is wonderfully remote. Only one bank is missing here, because there is pure nature here!

Anna-Lina Memorial Stone

Highlight • Monument

This stone is reminiscent of the murder of a jogger, who was carried out here on the former GDR convoy in 2013 😢
