I had been planning a winter tour to Hochgern for a long time. The path at Staudacher Alm can be a bit spontaneous. I think I'll only use it again when the weather is dry.

Very nice and worth seeing tour. Recommended only for people with the appropriate stamina (basic fitness must be present). Tour done clockwise and recommended. Counterclockwise, the descent after the summit is very steep with large gradations. These go better uphill. Have fun hiking 😊👍🏻
