Church in Redło

Highlight • Religious Site

The church was built in 1490 of granite stone and brick, late Gothic. It was ruined during World War II and rebuilt in 1978. In 1996, a sacristy was added.

In 2012, thanks to the efforts of the residents, the reconstruction of the church began, which was completed in 2013. The money for the reconstruction of the church came from donations from residents, financial support from the Osina Commune and the amount donated by the grandson of the former owners of Węgorzyce, Albert Bismarck. In front of the church there are plaques commemorating the former owners of Węgorzyce.

Maszewo Mill

A mill in this place already existed in the fourteenth century, but the current building dates from the mid-nineteenth century. It was later extended in the early 20th century. It was then raised by one floor and a residential building was added. It has a direct connection to the mill.

After 1945, the mill was taken over by the State Treasury, and then transferred to the State Grain Works in Nowogard. The next owner was the Maszewo Commune, which leased the building in 1990 and then sold it. Today, the building is again for sale.
