There is no designated cycle path from Eining to Kelheim!!! Partly very narrow and goes through the nature reserve. It's actually just a hiking trail, but still very nice...

Finally, a small round of Kelheim. The starting point was the P3 Pflegerspitz car park.

First through the beautiful city center of Kelheim before it goes steadily uphill to the Liberation Hall. An impressive and imposing building, you should definitely plan a visit.

We continued on the Danube. Warm but overcast again after a short rain shower. First we went to the Danube breakthrough - beautiful - then once over the mountain and admired the Danube breakthrough with Weltenburg monastery from the other side. It's super nice here. Then it went through the Hallertau to Marching.

By bike from Bad Gögging to Kelheim including the Liberation Hall, then by boat to Weltenburg Abbey including a visit. From there then back to Bad Gögging via the Danube Cycle Path. The alternative route directly along the Danube was very muddy and extremely difficult to navigate. It was also a very nice and varied (final) stage.
