Girona is where the Onyar meets the Ter and where there are two rivers, there are also some medieval bridges. This is one of the largest and connects directly in the direction of the old town with all its sights and, particularly exciting for racing cyclists, the cafés.

View of the Colorful Houses on the Onyar River from Pont de Sant Feliu

Highlight • Viewpoint

The old town of Girona is one of the most worth seeing I know. Beautiful colored houses along the Riu Onyar. And many beautiful streets.

Basilica of Sant Feliu

Highlight • Religious Site

Church originating from the early days of Christianity. This was the main temple of Girona before the construction of the cathedral. Its construction lasted from the 12th to the 17th century and it conserves a good part of the Romanesque building, later completed with the Gothic naves and roofs and the Baroque façade.
