Sud Brook Crossing Singletrack

Highlight • MTB Park

A fun fast and narrow path just a bit too ouchy in summer. At the bottom get ready to engage the granny ring as the climb out is short but very sharp in slippy gravel.

Fun local loop of superb singletrack descents followed by a ravishing ring around Linacre Reservoirs. Extra special when there's nobody about. The undergrowth is just starting to encroach on the descents, by next month through until the Winter they will be a lot less fun.
Marvellous Mountain Bike Ride and the perfect time to do it (apart from the wind). Not too muddy, water levels not too high, not too cold (or hot), undergrowth cut or died back.
Most of the climbing on tarmac or smooth gravel with a feast of downhill singletrack to follow, including five Fords.
Not ridden Johnnygate Lane for years mostly because its just to muddy for my liking but at the moment its just right with a mix of mud, damp and bone dry. Much fun even if I was going up not down🙂🚴
Plenty of bridleways, plenty of mud and plenty of water. Enjoyable in the sunshine.
