One of my fave directions to cycle. Highlight is always the first glimpse of "the bridges". Three centuries of engineering. Depending on the route I take that first reveal comes at different times during the ride.

Had a help yourself breakfast from the corridor . There was a good range of choices including fruit and toaster and microwave. The fridge had items such as milk, juices and yogurt. The rooms are all ensuite.
I collected my bike from the storeroom and setoff along the Kirkcaldy promenade which has a mile marker on it.
