Scalasaig Ferry Terminal

Scalasaig is probably going to be the arrival and departure point for any ride on Colonsay. Arrive here on the CalMac ferry from either Oban in about 2hrs 20mins or Port Askaig on Jura in 70mins. Ferries are regular but can be affected by the weather so it's best to check before traveling. A beautiful Georgian House, the gardens of which are open to visitors during the summer. Although not native to Scotland, the site boasts the largest collection of rhododendrons in the country as well as a walled garden, woodland walks and a cafe.
