I headed East and out of town upon reaching the Loire River. Riding along the river was pretty flat but provided great views. Then I was seriously reminded of the climb north out of Mauves-sur Loire on my way to Oudon. This was only the first one (7.2% avg grade), and then there were 4 more along the way, averaging …
