The cycle path above the Giselabahn (Salzburg-Wörgl, opened in 1875) takes you on mostly paved paths from Fieberbrunn to St. Johann in Tirol (coll. Sainihons).

June 17, 2022,EMTB-Test zum Pillersee – St. Johann in Tirol - 17.06.2022
Last year Felix gave me a voucher for an EMTB weekend in Tyrol.
We have now redeemed this and rented EMTB's in St. Johann for 2 days.

The first test tour took us to the beautiful Pillersee and I have to admit, it has something 😉

We drove this round with MTB's (Fullis with E...). Was a new experience, bikes ran great...matching the trails.

From St.Johann along the Fieberbrunn Arche. Ascent via Obwall with subsequent descent to St.Jacob and St.Ullrich. Continue past the picturesque Pillersee with St. Adolari. Next exit to Waldring. There next to the forest stream to Erpfendorf and along the Großarche to Oberndorf. Change of the valley side and back to St.Johann.

Beautiful circuit with great paths. We made a detour behind the Pillersee via the Panorama Trail. The climb is challenging. The descent is gravel... If you prefer it easier, just stay behind the Pillersee on RWW 18

Today I rode around the Pillersee with my friend Gerry and then visited our ice hockey buddy Siegi in St. Jakob in Haus. It was fun 🤣🏒🤣
